We serve over 4000 beneficiaries each day running 10 key projects related to education, healthcare, rehabilitation, and vocational training, that help our beneficiaries thrive in life.
I-India’s main activities are the provision of:
- an information/Child Help line for children and guardians in need
- repatriation of children to their families
- permanent shelter homes
- regular education and mainstreaming into schools and colleges
- medical care, hot nutritious meals through Annapurna kitchen
- emotional support from trained staff
- vocational training and paid employment
- awareness and advocacy work for children unable to voice their concerns
- empowerment of adolescent girls and mothers of street children

Child Helpline 1098
24 – hour, free, emergency phone outreach service for children in need of care and protection

Children’s Home
I-India has 2 permanent shelter homes for both homeless and orphan boys & girls, a residential care project

Education
Formal Schools for children belonging urban slums and below poverty line rural households

Health Care
Health Centre, outreach through mobile health vehicle, nutritional support, Annapurna kitchen

Vocational Training
Training on handicraft, personal financial management, IT/computer and legal rights
