Teachers Day @I-India

September 5, 2011

The children of I-India , celebrated Teachers Day on 5th of September as a tribute to the valuable contribution made by teachers to the society by imparting knowledge and enlightening and shaping the career of students. The ceremony included a traditional welcome of teachers by students to pay respect and thanks for their contribution. The celebration followed by a SPECIAL CAKE CUTTING, range of colourful cultural programs and other activities which make the event special and memorable. During the ceremony, the management of I-India shared the vedic period with students in which students have respected their teachers by addressing them ‘Guru’. And now it’s the modern ‘Sir’ or ‘Madam’. Nonetheless, the role of teachers has remained the same, they are our guides, creating conditions conducive to overall development. The Director of I-India also awarded project teachers for their outstanding contribution in overall growth of project and activities.
